Last summer I was able to return to my native town. It had been many months since we were allowed back. One afternoon, I found myself sitting on a bench in what used to be a familiar square. As I sat there remembering the days spent playing football with childhood friends, I realized how much had changed. Nowadays there is a large tree standing tall in the center of it. I also enjoyed seeing how much has stayed the same. Children are still running, laughing, and kicking a football.
